Thomas Franklin Kelley, Sr., age 83, of Hancock's Bridge passed away on July 10, 2021. Born in Salem to the late Clifford and Helen (Thomas) Kelley, Thomas attended Salem High School. He worked as an iron worker for 40 years for Local 451 out of Delaware. He was an avid sportsman, fisherman and hunter of everything. He was extremely fond of his friends that he acquired from childhood and throughout his life and was still very close to them to this day,. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Ruth (Robinson) Kelley; his son Thomas Kelley, Jr. and his wife Amber; his nephew Sean Kelley (who he raised like a son) and his wife Stephanie; his grandchildren Courtney Townsend, Meghan Kelley, Paige Townsend, Kelsie Kelley, Thomas Kelley III, and Sadie Kelley; his great grandchildren Charlee French, Luella Kelley and Rylan Kelley; and his brother Gary Kelley and his wife Lynn. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Dawn Rush, his grandson David Townsend and seven siblings. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
