Robert Harold Morgan, age 77, of Bear, DE passed away on March 23, 2021. Born to the late Hiram Dixon Morgan Sr. and Ruth (Moore) Morgan. Bob was a life-long resident of Woodstown & Carney's Point, NJ but spent the last three years in Delaware to be closer to his son and his family. Bob was a 1962 graduate of Penns Grove High School where he played baseball and basketball. He retired after 37 years as a Chemical Operator for DuPont Chambers Works where he had made many life long friends. Bob and wife Dottie owned Country Home Enhancers for 28 years where they created and sold wooden crafts. This allowed them to travel, meeting people, making many friends and sharing what they loved to do. Bob was a passionate sports fan and loved the Miami Dolphins and Phillies, attending the World Series in 1980 and 1983 with family and friends. Bob was a loving husband, Dad, PopPop, youth baseball coach, friend and neighbor. He loved talking to all his neighbors on Erie Ave and was always willing to lend a hand. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Dorothy (Duffield) Morgan; son Jeff and wife Betsy; grandchildren Olivia and Allison Morgan; sisters Marjorie Riley and husband Clem and Linda Gerace and husband Alan; also, many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Kenneth Morgan and Dixon Morgan. A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad Street, Woodstown, NJ 08098. There will be a visitation starting at 10 AM leading to the memorial service at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in memory of Robert Morgan to Sharptown United Methodist Church, 3 Chapel Street, Pilesgrove, NJ 08098 or to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
