Oris Ewing, age 89, currently living in Fairton but previously of Carneys Point, passed away Monday, February 18, 2019. Born in Louisa, Louisiana, Oris was the son of the late George and Margaret (Pinell) Ewing. Oris was retired from the United States Air Force where he worked as an airplane mechanic and earned the rank of Technical Sergeant. Oris is survived by his daughter Norma Ewing and her husband Salvatore Grasso of Hockessin, DE, his son Michael Ewing of Carneys Point, and his long-time companion Virginia Kline of Fairton. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Patricia (Scanlan) Ewing and eight siblings. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
