Rev. John Floyd Harman, 78, of Carneys Point went home to be with his Lord on March 11, 2019. Born in Englehart, Ontario, he was the son of Floyd & Marjorie Bates Harman. Rev. Harman was a Assembly of God minister, pastoring in Michigan, Connecticut, New Jersey and Pennsylvania eventually retiring from the church in Pennsville. Most recently, he was working part-time with Patriot Construction. He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Mary (Geddes); his son, Darryl and his wife Kim; grandchildren, John Lee, Jason Scott and Hope, one sister and four brothers as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he son Darrin and a grand-daughter, Skylar predeceased him. Services will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the First Assembly of God, 380 Georgetown Rd., Carney's Point, NJ 08069. The visitation will begin at 2 PM with the service following at 3 PM.
