Elizabeth Ann Hurff, age 73, of Carneys Point, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020. Born in Camden to the late Henry S. and Elizabeth (Stout) Hurff, she grew up and graduated from high school in Runnemede. Over the years, Elizabeth lived in Pennsville and Salem, working as a floral decorator for Walton's Flower Shop in Pennsville from which she retired. After retirement, she worked for thirteen years preparing salads at the Burger King in Pennsville. During the 80's and 90's, one of Elizabeth's favorite things to do was ride on the bus with her favorite driver, Joyce. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Newark, DE. Elizabeth is survived by her sons Paul Kell III of Carneys Point and John H. Kell (Dawn Asher) of Salem; her grandchildren Joshua Kell and Sarah Marie Kell; her brother Leonard W. Hurff of Gibbstown; her sisters Mary Ellen Mills of Racine, WI and Susan Carlin of Haddon Heights; and her niece Karla Magee of Pennsville. Due to the current restrictions surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, Elizabeth's services are private to the family and a memorial service will be held at a later date at her church. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in memory of Elizabeth Hurff to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 135 S. Old Baltimore Pike, Newark, DE 19702.
