Adelaide Clara (Passero) Ashfield, age 75, of Pennsville, NJ passed away on August 30, 2020. Born on March 24, 1945 and raised in Weymouth, MA, she was the daughter of the late Florence and Lincoln Passero. She attended Weymouth High School and worked at Shaw's Supermarket. On October 13, 1963, Adelaide married Robert Donald Ashfield. She was a volunteer with the Girl Scouts and she loved working with ceramics. Adelaide was also a member of the Broadway United Methodist Church in Salem, NJ. Adelaide is survived by her daughter Heather Ashfield of Salem, NJ, her brother Patrick Passero of Maine and her nephew Gary Sparks. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Robert D. Ashfield, her daughter Holly Ashfield and her sister Linda Passero. A memorial service to celebrate Adelaide's life will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 10 AM at the Broadway United Methodist Church, 115 1/2 W. Broadway, Salem, NJ 08079.
