Adam Allen Snyder, 85, of Pittsgrove passed away on September 24, 2021. Born in Sewaren, NJ, Mr. Snyder was the son of Allen A. & Julia Wentz Snyder. He retired from PSEG as a Yard Department Supervisor. An active bowler with many high achievements, a Webelos Leader, Scout Master for Troop 69 in Hopelawn, an “Honorary” Girl Scout Leader in Hopelawn, Captain of the Hopelawn First Aid Squad, an active fireman throughout his life, including Hopelawn Department #10 and Willow Grove Department #22 as well as a commissioner. President of Delaware Valley Chapter Seniors of PSEG, an active member of the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit, including their Senior Club, as well as receiving a volunteer award from the Salem County Meals on Wheels for his twenty-five years of service. He is survived by his wife Patricia M; his children, Scott S. Snyder (Karen), Sharon S. Krementz (George) , Susan C. Hickman (Wayne) , and ; siblings, James and Charles Snyder, Julia Achimovic and Ethel Murchison; eight grandchildren, Thomas Conley, April K. Conley-Groce , Matthew Snyder, Shawn D. Griffith, William A. Snyder, Dylan Hickman, Ryan D. Griffith and Justin D. Snyder as well as eight great grandchildren, Dahlia S. Neeld, Bellamy R. Griffith, Emma Groce, Riley K. Griffith, Eleanor P. Snyder, Emery J. Griffith, Francis C. Snyder and Jack R. Griffith. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son Stewart, a sister Theresa Snyder and niece Victoria Snyder . There will be a viewing held on Tuesday night, October 5, 2021, from 6 until 8 PM at the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit Parish Center, 2 lamplighter Dr., Woodstown, NJ 08098. On Wednesday morning, October 6, 2021, there will be a morning viewing from 10 until 11 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will take place on Thursday ay Clover Leaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge, NJ at 10:30 AM.
