Kevin Ryan Brown

Kevin Ryan Brown, 37 years young of Glassboro went to his eternal home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus unexpectedly on October 2nd, 2023. The third born child to Mark and Wendy (Bowers) Brown on March 17th, 1986. A day synonymous with Irish laughter and spirit, he brought the very same vibrant energy into our lives. Kevin was not merely a presence in our lives; he was a loyal friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His infectious laughter always lit up the darkest of rooms. Kevin grew up in Pedricktown, NJ, and later moved to Glassboro, NJ. He loved playing soccer and most days you would find him over his best friend Josh’s house. He would make his rounds every day to his meem & pops, his friends around town and back home. Kevin graduated from Glassboro High School and GCIT with his certification in welding in 2004. He started his welding career right away and worked for numerous companies perfecting his craft. Welding was Kevin’s passion and he required perfection from himself and as time went on from his apprentices he would mentor. He knew that his work was a reflection of him so he took extreme pride in providing the top of the line work. He truly loved his career and the art of welding. He achieved remarkable success, winning numerous welding competitions that showcased his exceptional talent and dedication. His achievements mirrored his approach to life – tenacious and unwavering. Like everyone does Kevin experienced challenges and setbacks in life however, he never gave up. He pulled himself up and tried again with everything in life. He remained optimistic and held hope no matter how much life may have knocked him down – he got back up to fight another day. The challenges weren’t without damage though. Kevin carried that weight with him and as time went on he became weary. He suffered silently with a smile on his face making sure to take care of everyone else. Although not by his choice he is now no longer suffering in pain but at peace. He is greeted with comforting arms by his father Mark Edward Brown who is holding his older baby sister Jennifer Ann Brown along with grandfather Thomas Russell Bowers & his beloved grandmother Priscilla “Penny” Cora Orbin. Although he is no longer with us a piece of him is still here in all of us; especially his children Danica Charlotte Marella (Kimberly Dorsett) and Levi Edward Brown (Martha “Elizabeth” Rios). As well as, his loving mother Wendy Lou (Bowers) Brown, devoted brother Christopher David Brown and “twin” sister/best friend Stephanie Priscilla Brown. Also his grandfather George (Poppy) Joseph Orbin Jr and all of his aunts, uncles and many cousins who will miss his smile, his hugs, his comfort and his ability to make the whole room burst out in laughter. His family is deeply saddened by his sudden death but his sense of humor, the sound of his laugh and the beauty of his smile will live on in our memories forever. To honor Kevin’s memory, a celebration of his life will be held at Calvary Chapel Gloucester County, 5360 Route 42, Blackwood, NJ 08012 on October 21, 2023 at 11am, where friends and family can gather to share stories and remember the beautiful soul he was. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to his children, Danica Marella & Levi Brown. Kevin enjoyed being with his family, enjoying a meal and goofing off on the couch. You can honor him by doing the same. What would Kevin do? Love harder, smile bigger, hug tighter and tip heavy. No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it, only God knows why. We will love you until the end of time.
